We purchased this TV for the bedroom and couldn't me more pleased. With the exception of the tinny speaker quality, the bang for the buck on this product is excellent. Well pleased with the great picture quality and the Smart TV features. We looked briefly at the competition, but in all honesty would probably never purchase any other TV without the Samsung name on it.

Overall it's a great TV with awesome features. I like the picture clarity and settings menu. The TV was easy to set up and was also connected to my XBox. Gaming on the TV is smooth and the graphics are great.

I've been using this TV for about 6 weeks and love it. Picture quality is wonderful and the TV automatically adjusts to lighting situations.
The remote is also easy learn and use.

I was using an old Gateway monitor for in office TV watching and finally replaced it with a 32 inch Samsung HD. Now wall mounted the unit has been the perfect addition. Easily adapted connectivity, including fiberoptics to my sound system, have made the transition a sweet one. Setup of all of the options couldn't have been easier.

Samsung definitely nailed it on the head with this one. For the price/value, You can't go wrong with buying this particular model and series. Not only easy interface, but a stunning display and picture quality that's second-to-none, compared to the competition. For I've owned LG, Sony, and other brands in the past even Panasonic and by far this particular Samsung model takes the Cake!

It would be nice if this had a wireless speaker feature. Also the component in/ AV plug in connectors (3 prong to one ) never did work as intended. My model was not shown but it is a UM40MU6290FXZA.

We have an older Samsung, and admittedly a lower-tier smart TV that we have been using for several years oh, and we also recently installed the new Samsung TV in our living room. The picture is great as always, however the real star of the show is the embedded software. the embedded software is so fast for using Hulu Netflix and Amazon prime. They load up in seconds and work very well and are very stable. The software and CPU package is light years better than a few years ago. Good purchase.

Don't like the stand with the legs on either side, prefer the center stand. Wish it had more HDMI ports. The rest of the TV is great, I use screen mirroring all the time & I have a several HDMI device's I plug in often. Great picture & lite weight.

The TV is great and really enjoy the smart features. Color is vibrant and sound quality us excellent. Enjoy watching all types of sports on it . Size is excellent and not over powering large. Fits perfect in bedroom. The remote is well labeled and very easy to use all the different functions.

Love the picture, etc. This set replaced a 40 inch Samsung after the screen went black.
Two issues:
Sound volume seems to change even while watching a show. There is a setting in the setup I believe that's supposed to prevent this, but it's never made a difference ON or Off.
Second issue, Samsung seems to have forgotten that there are those of us with impaired hearing. With the older set, it had an analog output which allowed the user to plug a headset RF transmitter allowing me to control the volume of what I'm watching without deafening my wife. Had I known this, I'd have looked for a set with the analog audio output. (this is why I down-rated it)

We were looking for another TV to replace our old tube type TV that are still OK but don't give us the features and picture that today's TV's do. We actually have 3 other Samsung TV's from 65 inches down to 50 inches that have been outstanding with respect to quality and performance. We did a side by side comparison of other TV's in this size and found that the picture was much better. Yes it was $20 more than another that we were looking at but the picture quality far out weighted the price differential. Besides that, I didn't have to learn another remote control since it is the same as the other Samsung TV's that I have. Very pleased with the purchase.

The UN43 has an excellent picture but very poor sound quality. The sound is very "tinny" and makes the overall viewing experience less than optimal. Set-up was easy and the price was competitive.

I bought this TV less than 2 weeks ago for the bedroom because I already have another Samsung which has worked great. This TV however has intermittent response issues. It works for a few days with no issues and then it does not respond to the remote at all. The first time I could not power the TV on with the remote, and then I attempted to power it on via the TV on/off button, and there was no response. The light would flash on and off, but the TV would not power on, so I unplugged it for about a minute, and then all was well. Today it powered on, but then the TV would not respond when trying to do anything else with the remote. I tried going to the main menu, pressing the source button, and pressing the settings button to no avail. I could power off and on, but the remote responded to nothing else. Once again, I had to unplug it, and then the remote responded. I will be returning it to the store, because I should not have to be going through this on a brand new TV.
