Problems in less than a year

Condenser iced over and ruined the freezer fan just before the year mark. Despite there being a service bulletin known issue to LG the replacement part was backordered with no ETA. We spent 3 weeks without a fridge and LG didnt care. Customer support was offshore and had trouble understanding the explanation of the issue. Communication with the repair tech was also an issue with customer support giving me different info on part status than they gave the tech. A little plastic piece that holds the door shut also broke. I replaced myself to avoid the pain of customer support. The fridge also leans backward which is normal according to the manual as it aids with the doors closing. However its a noticeable lean and looks unnatural. Short story Ill never buy another LG refrigerator.

We like french doors because you can easily see the contents in the refrigerator. Ice and water dispenser work fine. Deli drawer is nice and it seems like we have enough room for our groceries.

Bought this a month ago and having problems with the one door that keeps slamming. PC Richard came out to inspect and said my contractor had to adjust it. My contractor adjusted it and it still slams. Also dont like that I have to open both fridge doors to get to cold cut drawer.

I do not have full use of the fridge as yet because my kitchen is torn out for remodeling and the fridge is sitting in a little nook until remodel complete and fridge can be put in place. So not able to use the ice maker right now. However I am very disappointed to find the bottom freezer drawer does not have a light in it. This is the reason for giving the fridge only 4 stars.

So far really solid sleek refrigerator

We got this about a month ago replacing another brand that we bought 6 years ago and just wasnt working well. This LG we very much like in design and function After having an internal water dispenser its very handy to have an external one now. The interior design doesnt make it feel like we lost too much space for a counter depth model vs. our old regular depth. I really like the double freezer drawer vs one big drawer with a pull out. The only drawback is the ice is made and held inside the left fridge door so that inside door doesnt have as much depth to hold things thing single row of mustard ketchup bottle instead of double. Some reviews didnt like the small amount of ice it hold. But there is a bin in the freezer to store more ice in case you need it. I dont see it as much of a drawback unless youre using tons of ice. The seals are very solid and Im overall very happy we made the switch.

Best configuration and utilization of space

This was our second counter-depth refrigerator. Our first refrigerator was not an LG. It had significantly less interior space than we were used to. It was not made well and after four years it needed too many repairs and had to be replaced. The LG ThinQ is designed to really maximize space and feels so much bigger than the old refrigerator. Also anything placed at the back of the old refrigerator used to freeze particularly produce at the back of the bins. That has not happened with our new LG and its design. We couldnt be more happy.

Icemaker broken after eight months

I purchased all new LG kitchen appliances in January. In September the icemaker broke. Three weeks later it was replaced. The repairmen Shared mini horror stories of LG refrigerator compressor issues. I also have had a couple of times when the keypad on the oven would not work. Fortunately I was able to re-set the breaker and the keypad rebooted.

I purchased this counter depth fridge about 3 months ago but it was only recently installed because I was having my kitchen remodeled. The fridge fit perfectly. It is not as deep as my previous LG refrigerator but still holds quite a lot. I was a little puzzled that it did not have a drip tray and contacted LG thinking that it was missing. I was told that this model did not contain a drip tray and have since purchased an absorbent drip catcher that works well. I definitely love the finger-print free finish.

Great features but small problem with the ice make

Love the fridge. But noticed that the ice would jam up and I had to clean from the back to start the flow again. Then one day it started to leak from the icemaker unit. Called LG. The service responded very promptly and the repair person came on time replaced the icemaker unit under warranty and it is working fine since then.

LMXC22626S Pros: Counter depth- stainless steel Looks Great Love the dual freezer drawers The clear drawers inside slide easily and are great for lunchmeat cheeses etc so that you can see whats inside the drawer. Quiet- the only time you hear a noise is when ice cubes first drop. Otherwise runs quietly. Good amount of space inside. We had a side by side other brand for many years. The french doors on the top were a nice change and its more spacious than I thought it would be. We put a few temperature monitors inside the fridge and the temps have been consistent and accurately displayed on the door. Cons- none so far. Happy with our purchase so far.

I bought this fridge in a rush because ours got fried by a power surge. We didnt have a ton of time to research but we knew LG had a good reputation so we went with this one due to being counter-depth and it having the double freezer drawers. The fridge has been great. The 22 cu ft feels bigger than our old fridge off the same size and we live there layout especially the deli drawer sticking out further than the produce drawers so you can see whats in there. Weve also found that the double freezer drawers are easier to organize than one big one.

Enjoying the new fridge

Made this purchase bc it was time for an upgrade. I only give it four stars because I expected it to have ice in the freezer drawer along with the dispenser on the exterior since we go through a lot of ice especially in the summer. Ive turned on the ice plus feature and it seems to make a little more ice.

Love the versatility

Weve had our new French door 2 drawer frig/freezer for a month. So far so good. Our only complaint is the indoor ice maker makes a mess when giving you ice or crushed ice. You need a large mouth bowl or container to catch the ice and then a rag to wipe down the floor and door front from the tiny pieces the scatter.

Well designed frig

This counter depth frig is great it has lots of space and is easy to keep organized. I like the two freezer drawers very convenient for items you use often. . Deli drawer is handy find this is an essential item when choosing frig. I particularly like the ice maker being in the door. This really increases the room for food in a counter depth frig. This is the best frig I have owned for convenience space and organization.

I like everything about this refrigerator. If I could change anything it would be the bottom drawer so you can pull the drawer out without having to open both doors of the refrigerator.

A really good fridge except for one thing.

I do really like this fridge except for the compartment for the water filter. The compartment will not stay closed it is very flimsy and the weight of the filter and the fact that it will not stay shut. Filter and door falls down because it will not latch correctly. If it was not for this i would have given 5 stars. I have called LG about this to repair or fix compartment.
