I loved this fridge The 3 produce drawers and the organization of the freezer were fantastic for a busy family with lots of food. I liked the ice and water in the door. Filters were easy to change and I felt like they kept my fridge smelling great and water tasting fantastic All was well until.the compressor went out. LG sent a contractor to confirm then shipped a warranty compressor replacement. The fridge cooled for a few hours then started to warm again. Never got to holding temp.

Ice maker is flawless. Water dispenser I believe is faulty and dispenses water with or without a filter. Cant tell the difference in taste. Size is great for a large family.
Cons- wifi disconnects after 3 days and will only reconnect when unplugging and plugging back in the refrigerator or running the audible diagnostics. Fridge runs warm sometimes and self diagnosis states refrigerator is in defrost mode. Unable to manually turn off defrost mode. Fridge doors are too thin and dent super easily. Linear compressor reliability is yet to be sorted out.

We have had this refrigerator a little over 5 years. The compressor has had to be replaced cooling coils have froze up and now the condenser is being replaced. We loved the design but being pretty doesnt mean it works as well as it looks Definitely would look at how a product performs before buying.

For a new refrigerator it broke down on me and wasted over $400 in groceries. Ive had numerous issues with the icemaker along with the door not shutting properly. It never seems to hold the temperature in. Needs a new compressor Ive had to wait over a month for it to come in still hasnt been fixed. Dont waste your money

We purchased this unit in 2018. Three years later the compressor is out and there arent any repair facilities in our area to repair this. We contacted LG and arranged for a refund in September but have not heard from LG again. We have been forced to purchase a new refrigerator and it is NOT an LG. We will seek legal remedies if this is not resolved soon.

This refrigerator is now 4 years old. The last 3 years we had ssues each year. First a new main circuit board. It wasnt defrosting. Stopped cooling last year the compressor was replaced. Ice build up this year. The freezer walls were covered with ice. Defroster again? Was told to unplug for 24 hours it so the ice would melt.

I bough this refrigerator and noticed some trouble of building up ices around the corner of left door. I left a question about the problem in lg homepage and never got the reply back. It was okay but now it is completely broken. Freaking expensive appliances should last 10 years at least Refrigerator doesnt get cold in just about five years. Hugely disappointed.

I was forced to take this fridge less than 5 years ago when I was informed by the vendor that the one I purchased was on back order not LGs fault This fridge didnt even last 5 years. Compressor went out already and the light in the door in door feature has malfunctioned for the last 4 years.

Ice maker wont dispense ice - and when trying to pull it out it wont come out - its stuck - it leaks once in a while which I believe is the cause of ice melting and refreshing.
