We bought this as a replacement for our broken unit. Old unit left dishes very wet, we wanted a unit that dried well so dishes could be put away immediately. This unit does that. Our main issue is design of racks. It seems like it was made for specific set of dishes. The top rack does not fit our cups and mugs well. Bottom rack doesn't hold our plates well. The dryer also adds a lot of time. Takes 3 hours to complete a wash and dry cycle.

This is the best dishwasher I ever had and I have had a few. Cleans so well and you can't even hear it running. My installer said he had to hold his ear against it to see if it was working.

We do love our Bosch dishwasher. It is so very quiet. The racks offer all the organized space needed to get a load of kitchenware clean and sparkling. The upper rack for utensils and small bowls is a great space. The alert on my phone when the dishwasher is finished is also helpful. We will be buying a second dishwasher for our second home.

We have been Bosch diswasher owners for many years. We stepped up to the Bosch 800 series and it by far exceeds our expectations. It's very very quiet, our dishes are sparkling clean and they come out completely dry. We have no regrets with purchasing this dishwasher.

Very quiet. One of my main reasons was buying a dishwasher with builtin leak detecion. My only complaint is I wish there was an indication if the contents are clean or not. Can look at the app but a green completed light would be handy

Purchased this after six years with a dishwasher that never worked properly. It arrived after a week and the installation was great. The gentleman noticed issues from the previous installation and fixed it. The dishwasher works as advertised and have good quality. We are very happy at this point with the Bosch dishwasher.

This dishwasher is the second Bosch dishwasher I have purchased in the last 10-12 years. We recently moved and had to purchase a new dishwasher. We stayed with the Bosch product and by far this dishwasher is the best one yet. It does a top quality job on cleaning and I can't hear the dishwasher working. I would classify it as almost soundproof. Bosch makes top quality appliances. For many years I have said, "you get what you pay for".

Bought, had installed, worked once. Called Bosch, because you can't return it to the retailer, they sent out a tech. He said it needed a replacement of one of the electronics boards. We waited a week for the part to arrive and schedule an install time. Tech returned, installed the new board... Bupkis... Now it needs anothe new board. Waited for it to arrive and schedule install. Tech replaced 2nd board... Bupkis again... Now Bosch is saying they'll take up to 7 days to decide if we can get a replacement washer... Really tired of washing the dishes that our new dishwasher supposedly should wash...

Love my new dishwasher! It gets all my dishes clean with no greasy film left on them. I also like that it's a "smart" appliance that I have linked with my google nest. The app notifies me when the wash cycle is completed. Would definitely buy this again!

I had a BOSCH before. After it finish the cycle, the interior is bone dry. But this new one is full of water drops. Presipitation so to speak. You have to leave it open for a few hours before it becomes dry.
The door has to be left open almost half day for it to dry. Also what is annoying is that the door cannot be left open just a little bit; it will close automatically. It has to be pushed open about 1/2 way for it to stay open. The previous one ca be left open even 1 or 2 inches; at any point it will stay open. When you have a small kitchen and you have to leave the door open more than 1-2 inches, it takes up the room around it and it's annoying to walk around it.

You need to hire a new technical writer. The instructions on how to use this machine are nearly indecipherable. Also, I do not have a need to operate this through my iPhone yet, that appears to be at least partially unavoidable. And, it appears that I need to run it for 3 hours in order to get it to dry the dishes? If I could return it, I would!!

This dishwasher is so quiet I can barely tell it is on. But that would be nothing if it wasn't for the fact that it gets dishes spotless... Even points and pans with dried on and baked on food. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend the 800 series!

After about three months of using the Bosch 800 Series dishwasher, I wanted to share an early impression-and so far, I'm seriously impressed.
First off, the cleaning performance has been excellent. Dishes come out consistently spotless, even when I don't pre-rinse as much as I probably should. It handles everything from everyday plates to heavily soiled cookware without any issues.
What really stands out, though, is the drying performance. It's honestly on another level-especially when it comes to plastics. In past dishwashers I've owned, plastic containers would almost always come out damp or with pooled water. That's just not the case here. The Bosch 800 Series leaves plastics impressively dry, to the point where I've caught myself double-checking because I'm so used to wiping them down. I haven't seen any dishwasher do plastics better.
Another big highlight is how incredibly quiet this unit is. It's so quiet, in fact, that I sometimes have to check the indicator light to confirm it's actually running. It's a huge upgrade, especially in an open-concept space where noise can be a factor.
Overall, even just three months in, this dishwasher has exceeded my expectations. Between the powerful cleaning, outstanding drying (especially for plastics), and near-silent operation, it already feels like a standout appliance.

I had my old one for 12 years, and LOVED it!!
When it quit, there was no thinking about what to buy, I wanted another Bosch!!
The ONE complaint about my new one, is the utencil rack is more than 50% smaller then the old one!
My old one too almost the length of the bottom rack!
The new one covers about a quarter of that!
Why Bosch????
I just saved my old one and use that!
No other complaints about the dishwasher at all!!!
Would never consider any other brand!!!

Other than hearing a little bit of drainage in the sink you hear little to nothing with this unit. The dishes come out completely clean including my casserole dishes I don't pre-wash. Most dishes are completely dry there is an occasional exception but still a great machine.

Wow, this is the quiestest dishwasher we have ever owned. Dishes are clean and dry at end of cycle. The top silverware rack holds tons of silverware plus large spoons/spatulas. Since I'm retired, I didn't think I'd use the App connection but it's been convenient for monitoring the features and getting notifications. Highly recommend!!

This is an excellent dishwasher. The Samsung we had previously led us to settle for food stuck to the dishes and a constant hard water film on all glass. The bosch 800 fixed all of it! Happy to clean dishes now!
