This is the largest oven I've ever owned and LOVE it. However, it's difficult to hear the timer go off, and the oven continues to bake. Need louder or different type of sound. Also, the dial options are difficult to use the 2 different Broil options and there should be different settings.

Very nice addition to our kitchen. Our neighbors love it's appreance. Baking & Broiling operations are as expected. Pre heating requires about 20 min before baking. The cooling fan is very quiet almost not noticeable. No outstanding issues so far. Highly recommend this product

The oven is sleek and does what it is supposed to do as a basic oven. I miss the delay start feature. The only way to get a "time bake" i.e. to get it to turn off after a set amount of time is to set the sabbath mode for the time that you want the oven to stay on. And that is only in 1/2 hour increments. The sabbath mode starts from 74 hours and you have to punch down in 1/2 hour increments. When I bake bread I have to get used to which rack to put it on. The middle racks browns the top too quickly. But all in all I am enjoying it.

The quality of this oven surprised me & my wife for the price. Very nice addition to our kitchen. Our neighbors love it's appreance. Baking & Broiling operations are as expected. Most modern ovens seem to compete for the greatest number of features. Our previous oven even required WIFI access for correct operation! No this Bosch oven! It simply does what you set the knobs for. One is for mode and the other temperature. We can count on it to perform correctly and well every time we use it. It bakes, roasts, broils, and warms more evenly and better than any other household oven we have used.

I've used the Bosch 500 over for 4 months. It works perfectly even though the frame was damaged in shipment. Because of low Inventory I am still waiting for a replacement.
I had a little bit of a learning curve when I tried to use the broiler. I thought it was broken, but the serviceman explained that the oven door had to be shut in order for the broiler to work.

Thank you for sending this product review. The reason I insisted on buying Bosch was that my old oven was a Thermador, and I was told that BOSCH was the replacement since they do not make that brand anymore. My old oven was incredibly safe and reliable.
I want to share my concerns because it is a safety issue.
1- When I bake and broil food in this oven, and I open the oven to take the food item out all the steam/extremely hot air or vapor comes out. When we first bought this item, i almost burned my arms and face, It was serious and scary. Now I learned to open it a little while I am standing on the side, relaease that hot air and then take out or check my food. If there is any way you can help me with this problem I would really appreciate it.
2- When the timer for the oven goes off, the oven does not turn off, it goes back to the set baking temperature. So what is the use for the timer. My cake was over cooked (Thankfully not burnt) because I relied on the timer while doing something else outside the kitchen.
Again Thank you and I hope I will get a feedback that will help me like this appliance.

Love the clean, simple look of the oven and the controls make it easy to use. Takes longer to preheat than my old oven, apparently because it doesn't have exposed heating element. But that also makes it roomier and easy to clean.

I love having a wall oven. And I thought this would be adequate,?however you can't have have the clock showing while cooking, or if you can I haven't figured out how. It also has so few features that it is easy to forget to turn it off. It needs a red indicator somewhere

It cooks evenly throughout. Do not put pizza at the lowest level of the rack, otherwise it will burn. There is a cooking element at the bottom which is not visible.
It does not stop after the cookitimd is over!

The timer button on this is crazy. If you try to push once for each minute, it starts randomly adding increments of time so 1 min, 2, min, 3 min, 6 min 12 min 17 min. It's so hard to get the timer to just DO what I WANT. It also burns things FAST and gets really steamy.

We have all new Bosch appliances in the home we purchased last August. And this wall oven has already died on us. Throwing an error code EO11 and beeping all the time. Hopefully the repair company can fix it. Very disappointing.

We own 2 homes and I liked this sleek oven so well in our first home, that when we renovated our 2nd home, I installed the same one. Even heat-even browning when I bake. Preheats quickly too!

The timer is the most frustrating thing I have ever encountered on an oven and I have no idea how the quality department ever let this be sold. It came with the house but I would not buy this oven for the timer alone. Its a fun game I play when guests come to the house. I ask them to put the timer at say, 27 minutes and watch them struggle. After about 5 minutes of trying they give up. It also takes a long time to pre-heat.

It is a very well built oven with all the knobs and controls work perfectly fine except the timer who has a strange way to operate. If you touch the control for more a few seconds it jumps so fast and there is no way to control the way the minutes are going up.

This is the quietest dishwasher! I don't even notice that it is running. I love the third rack for silverware as it saves additional space on the bottom rack for pots and pans. Would definitely buy again!

When purchasing appliances for our newly constructed home, we chose Busch for their quality and high-end appearance. It's probably our own misstep that we failed to notice it does not have a time bake feature. At this price point I would expect that as a basic feature. It will be the first appliance I will replace.

This oven is bigger on the inside than it looks! Easy to use, no confusing fancy options just a solid basic oven. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the clock feature is gone when the oven is in use.

The oven has multi functions that all work very well. The control knobs (instead of buttons) are a plus! Fast preheat, and even cooking. The design has clean lines, fine stainless steel and a flat un-bowed, comfortable handle. Highly recommend.
