There is no way to comment on the refrigerator without the delivery of the item. The delivery men took paint off my walls, destroyed a picture, scratched up my wood stairs and landings and left fingerprints all over the refrigerator. I tried reaching support to no avail™€¦constantly transferred only to be left on hold forever. You should make customer comments just as easy on delivery and set up if you do not want comments here.

I had the refrigerator for less than a week and had to have it serviced already. The freezer worked fine but the refrigerator side was not cooling even when I set it to the highest setting. I ended up losing food that I purchased when I returned from vacation. Service man came out and told me he had to order a new board for the it! How is that possible if it™€™s brand new?

I purchased a new home from a builder, and the refrigerator was provided to me. Well, I like whirlpool appliances, I do not like the side-by-side door refrigerator. I kept an open mind because it™€™s nice to have an icemaker and water dispenser on the front, but other than that, I dislike the refrigerator. You can™€™t fit a frozen pizza in the freezer. It™€™s so narrow. You can™€™t get one in there. In the refrigerator section it™€™s so narrow that you have to stack everything on the little narrow shelves. I prefer a refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The other thing is that this refrigerator supposed to be energy efficient but it seems like compressor or motor on the refrigerator is cycling constantly.

I have been using Whirlpool appliances since 1994. I finally replaced my Whirlpool refrigerator after 32 years with Model # WRS335DHM-4 on 30 September 2025. I had a problem with it: the ice dispenser stopped working. The technician tried to repair it and ordered parts four different times. It took 4 weeks, and on the 4th time, he told me it could not be repaired. He mentioned that he would contact Whirlpool for a replacement. I got a call from Whirlpool that I would get a call from Peach State Appliances for the replacement. 10 July 2026, I got the replacement. I asked the delivery people to please make sure to install it perfectly. 12 July 2026, when the ice bin was half full, I tried the ice dispenser. It did not work; same problem with the first one. Called it in; the technician tried to fix it, but no luck. He ordered a part, and he said he'll be back Wednesday, 22 July 2026. Hopefully, it will get fixed this time.

I come from a top fridge, bottom freezer set up so it was tough adjusting to a skinnier refrigerator space. That said, there is still a lot of space and it™€™s nice and deep. My fridge was installed brand new and there was a ding/intention on the bottom door however.

I purchase a brand new house November 26th night 2025. My refrigerator never worked, The builders would not help me. They told me to call Whirlpool. I contacted Whirlpool. I was on the phone for 2 hours then they sent me to someone who would not come out. My refrigerator was not fixed until January of this year so I had a refrigerator that did not work. No one would give me a replacement. I am very disappointed and I still want a replacement. Like I was told a new refrigerator should not need work on it. I should not have had to call maintenance for a new refrigerator, so I know I'm going to have more issues out of the refrigerator

Lousy refrigerator

The refrigerator came with the house on November 21, 2025, a lousy 2+ months ago. I have had nothing but problems starting with the right door. It flies open all the way back every time we open the door. Had Whirlpool repairment out 3 times so far. Keep complaining about the door and am told that's the way it is. Had to replace a fan, ice-maker, and attempt to fix the door. Complained to builder and they said I had to go through Whirlpool and that's proven to be a complete disaster. On hold up to one hr. each time I call.

Ok with some design flaws

This refrigerator was installed in a New construction house that I bought. It would not have been a refrigerator. I would™€™ve picked if I™€™d taken time to look at it a bit more. Inside shelving is limited on how you can arrange the shelves. The tall shelf is at the very top which will hold your milk cartons. Having a limited ability to lift items, I found this extremely difficult to deal with. Also, the ice/water on the front of the refrigerator is poorly designed. It will only accommodate a small glass. To get the ice in a larger cup, you have to tip the glass and it quite often hits the water lever is depressed causing a huge mess. The freezer space is OK. All in all, this is a refrigerator that might be OK as a backup or a first refrigerator. It does have some poor design issues. Perhaps that™€™s why it was in a new construction home.

Loud and froze up so it was replaced. Better but still noisy. So aMErika we built a refrigerator a 100 years ago that lasted over 30 to 40 years and this is who we are today. Engineers are either ignorant compared to the engineers of 1900s or they are willing to design garbage and rip people off then make great products or even good products. The aMErikan way so awesome lol Whirlpool said they would send another warranty person out, but I™€™ve taken several days off and lost more money than this thing even worse so I probably won™€™t even proceed unless it gets worse pretty sad and pathetic

It came with my new home. The features are fine. I love how accessible they made the ice cube container. I can reach in and grab some cubes without having to dispense them from the door. It's really noisy, though. The motor (fan?) runs constantly and it's so loud I can hardly hear the television in the living room without turning it up. For that reason I wouldn't recommend this fridge.

So my new GE refrigerator is working great. Oh wait, this is a review on my whirlpool. I think maybe the whirlpool is in the metal scrap section of my local landfill. From day one, it made a loud noise when the compressor turned on. The service tech said the system was not properly vacuumed down and need to have the refrigerant removed and charged again. When this was done, the noise was louder . The tech said the compressor was bad, and he had to order a new one. Whirlpool would not replace the refrigerator till all service steps were made. My family owned appliance store stepped in, gave me a loaner refrig and I now have a GE. What ever you buy , purchase the extended warranty, because all new appliance only have a one year warranty and they will not last like are parent

Bought a month ago, & it's not working properly. There is ice building up in the bottom of the freezer, & it's making a loud fan noise. The store I bought it from said I have to deal with Whirlpool directly which was a nightmare. I called twice & was put on hold for over an hour both times & never got anyone to answer the phone. Terrible customer service.

Nice refrigerator but noisy

Works well. Loud. At night can be heard everywhere in our home. Other reviews on this model state the same as noisy.
