We replaced our 4 year old LG with this GE fridge because we have found GE to be a better product and the LG croaked. So far I am loving this fridge, lots of room and so quiet!

I like the style of the frig but ice maker has not worked since day 1.
Techs have been out four times to fix and it is still not working. One solution was to wad up a paper towel and stick it behind the filter to hold it in place????

Attractive, functional, refrigerator. Nice storage capacity with numerous ways to adjust shelves. In door ice maker storage bin not very large and active families won't be satisfied without adding the optional freezer ice maker. Disappointed that door indicators for ice, water, auto filter, are not backlit which causes problems at night when all kitchen lights are off.

I can finally enjoy my refrigerator, with the supply shortages it had me waiting anxiously dreaming of getting it! and the wait was sooo worth it, I'm in Love with my refrigerator, the color, the finish, the technology, everything!!!, even though is Counter Depth, is still very spacious and with many compartments to be able to have everything organized and easy to find and see what you have.

Love the convenience features of this refrigerator. The auto fill is awesome. The adjustable shelf can easily make room for tall pitchers of ice tea and the large door storage has everything is it's place without looking crowded. The lighting make is so easy to see everything at a glance. The only thing I miss is the auto closing door I had in my old refrigerator but I can get used to closing a door for this beautiful new appliance.

Waited four months for first shipment. It failed due to the compressor, and we lost the food inside. Waited three months for replacement. The ice maker quit after a week, and we're waiting for a factory repair.

Our GE refrigerator fail twice within a 2 month period, first time it was not cooling enough on top middle shelf due to a fan failure that took 4 wks to order and install.. Next time the main temperature control board failed as the refrigerator was cooling too much. As far as we are concerned GE quality has dropped substantially! Our next unit will not be a GE and the unit we pick will be as simplistic as possible with as minimal electronics as possible!

I have owned this refrigerator for less than 45 days and am presently awaiting my second service call. The first issue was a damaged door, and now the unit has quit cooling completely and I have lost several hundred dollars in food that spoiled. Plus, now I have to wait a week and a half for service.

This is not the first high-grade refrigerator/freezer but a bone however I do believe it is the most fantastic. It has incredible features incredible options and quite frankly it's just absolutely incredible. And it goes quite well with my GE profile black stainless gas range. I haven't finished with the placement yet when I move it back it obviously will not be blocking my doorway LOL

Awesome fridge, LED lighting huge upgrade over 1930s incandescent bulb tech, excellent use of space/shelving/drawers in this counter depth appliance. Black Stainless matches our entire GE profile kitchen.
5 star review of this $3500 shattered by failed dispenser 7 days into ownership. GE ahould be ashamed of themselves.

We live in a smaller home. We are still getting used to the noise coming from the new refrigerator. It runs a lot and the mechanical noise is a lot louder than our previous one. At times it is even louder. On the other hand it works as advertised in keeping contents cold in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. The interior lighting is excellent.

Love the looks and the layout, but the compressor runs a lot, and that would be fine with me if it didn't make such a loud hum that travels through the house. I guess someone "could" get used to it over time, but at the price and the technology we have today, GE can do much better! My 15 year old refrigerator was close to silent and this is noticeably louder. Otherwise I loved it, so I had GE come out and look at it and they can do nothing saying this is the way are today due to the low power consumption, lack of insulation to keep them lighter, and new refrigerants they need to use. What a lame excuse for the lack of innovation or simple sound insulation. I'd seriously consider another brand if you have an open house. It will likely be great if you have a small isolated kitchen that buffers the humming.

Came with a dent in one of the doors and the freezer has an issue with the seal, causing it to have frost on the inside and ice cubes stick together. Other wise it looks great and runs quite. The service people are going to fix the issues.

I love my new refrigerator! Had a side-by-side before this purchase. The only thing I would change would be to have the panels lit up on the outside ice/water options. On the black stainless, they are kind of hard to see until you get more familiar with the refrigerator.

Refrigerator and freezer cycle over 2-3 days, freezer gets up to about 26 and food thaws then after a few days it goes down to -9 for a few days then back up to 24-26. I had to put everything in my other refrigerator, waiting for a new one
