This was the only freezer I could find that would fit in my available space. It is a bit smaller than my previous freezer so that is an adjustment. It does work. It took it longer to get to zero than I had hoped. And of course we had to downsize our freezer contents, but that is not the fault of the freezer. Having to avoid the evenflow piece inside the freezer was a bit inconvenient as well.

This freezer replaced a 12 year old standalone freezer. There were some pleasant surprises involved with this new freezer:1. The price for this freezer was very reasonable - it would have been reasonable even before the Memorial Day discount, but all the more so at the reduced sale price.2. The installation took all of just ten minutes, including unhinging and rehinging one of the three doors that the delivery crew (two very strong, professional, and friendly guys!).3. Reading the annual energy consumption tag totally floored me, just thirteen cents daily for this huge machine to which we give so much responsibility.

1 year and 2 months it no longer stays frozen. Had a repair guy out $95 to diagnose. Assumes it™€™s a fan. Claims I™€™ll get a call to schedule install. Never heard from them. I need this for my business. Called twice and can™€™t get part to me for another 1.5 weeks. Peace of crap freezer. Now buying a new one - but a different brand.

Had to purchase a new freezer because our other freezer of 20+ years met it's end. I looked at many different models but this one suited us for what we needed and the price was right. This one has a little more space than our previous one. My only two critiques so far are I wish the control setting was on the wall of the freezer and not on the lower back wall, and I wish it was a small panel instead of a big knob. The freezer is very light as well which makes it easy to move. You will want to adjust the feet so they contact the ground or else the freezer will roll backward when you try to open the door.

It served our family faithfully for all that time.It finally died (actually just stopped cooling) recently so I thought about what I would want this time around. I also kinda wish it was a little deeper than it was tall, but perhaps I'll be grateful that it's not as deep once we've gotten it filled up all the way so that we don't have to dig around to get anything. I bought this freezer to replace my old garage freezer that died. This seems to be built solid and set up was just plugging it in. It was installed (plugged in) around 3pm and I stuck a loaf of bread in it just to test it out. The next day around 11am, I checked out the bread and it was frozen. Then I loaded everything else in. Everything has stayed frozen since. It runs much quieter than my old freezer. I like it. I hope it last a very long time.

Being on four wheels instead of 2 makes it easy to move. The only thing I would have liked is a Lock on the door. It is in our Louisiana garage so it will get a real test on ™€œgarage ready™€

Do not buy- Freezer dead after 16 months

Purchased this freezer 16 months ago and it has already stopped working. It's not cooling like it should and all the refrigerant has leaked out of it. I know enough about freezers to know that this would be a costly or extremely difficult repair. Of course it's just outside of the 1 year manufacturer's warranty and after many calls to Frigidaire as well as appliance repair companies, we either have to pay more than the freezer is worth to fix it or buy a new one. We purchased this under the impression that Frigidaire made quality products, but clearly they don't. Their customer service is not helpful and we are deeply disappointed with this purchase. Seems like quite a few other people had similar experiences, so buyer beware.

Had a small chest freezer and a smaller Frigidaire upright freezer. Space was getting low in those so we decided to upgrade from the chest freezer to this. So glad we did. It's a little early to fully rate our new freezer because we have only had it for a week. However, we chose Frigidaire over other brands for various reasons. First, our last freezer was also a Frigidaire, which we had for 15 years with no issues. Also the door storage on Frigidaires is far superior to most other brands. Useless customer support and no warranty support.

Warranty and support USELESS. Bought new Nov 2024. Just barely cooling in Mar 2025. Called Mar 20, 2025 for warranty support. Repair company no call/no show. Called Frigidaire 5 more times between 3/20 and 4/15 - more than 3 hours on the phone. Several promises of call backs did not happen. Second repair appointment no call/ no show. During 4th call, I was told my problem was being referred "up the ladder" for a "priority code". Crickets. Last call, 4/15, took more than an hour - waiting for escalations team. Scheduled a call back for 1:30p the next day, as I would not be available earlier. This ONE time, I did get a call back - but at 1:10p BEFORE scheduled time so I was not available. Message left said escalations was not available due to training. Then they recommended waiting for an update from Senior Team. It is now May 1, and still no contact from Frigidaire. BBB complaint filed due to useless support and ignoring warranty requests and lack of response beyond blowing it off. Current temperatures average mid 20's F with the thermostat set to coldest setting. NSF recommendations for freezers is below 0 F. I am stuck paying for electricity to keep a useless freezer running in hopes of a repair visit. Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

More space than I will ever need , unless I buy a cow??It™€™s so light weight I can move it by myself , of course the wheels help. Having the door alarms give me peace of mind. This is my third Frigidaire 20 cu. ft. freezer. I currently have two active ones. My first one lasted about 25 years. I bought my second one in 2023 and have now come to need another one. So far so good! I've had great luck with them thus far, so why change it now. I use it as an overflow to my kitchen refrigerator freezer and do store game meat, fish, and an occasional ice bag in it. I like the frost fee design as I don't have to keep defrosting it. The vacuum seal feature is nice because it ensures the doors stay completely shut. It has not had any problems with the door seals as other brands have. they are loaded up very full, and the shelves always handle the weight. The green LED light at the lower front is nice because it lets you know that it is powered and working fine. The flexibility of shelf adjustment and the reversible doors is also convenient. Can't complain! I am almost ready for a refrigerator freezer, so Frigidaire will be my first stop.

Had Crosley upright freezer for about 25 years. Only con was not free. Wasn™€™t sure if we could find a match with today™€™s ™€œlow quality high price mentality™€. But so far so good. Like the frost free and inside light, not sure about the green outside light.
